Field Station: Dinosaurs
World-class family attraction Field Station: Dinosaurs combines cutting-edge science with Broadway producers' flair to create an experience that's educational, thrilling, and fun just minutes from Manhattan.
With over 30 hand-sculpted dinosaurs brought to life by the brilliant engineering of the world's leading roboticists, the Field Station is a journey back in time that visitors can take in the company of their paleo-artists. Browse around this site.
The stories of dinosaurs and their extinction are brought into the present day by over 30 live shows, games, and activities each day.
Located in Bergen County's beautiful Overpeck Park on the banks of a scenic creek and surrounded by natural woods, the science and story of the dinosaurs are vividly presented. Researchers in paleontology, geology and environmental studies have worked to ensure that this exhibit includes the most up-to-date theories and findings in these fields.
Fun, joy, and wonder are all centered around dinosaurs. Every family that joins them is taken on an adventure that is full of intrigue, thrills, and awe.
Join Field Station: Dinosaurs for two performances at Westfield Garden State Plaza on Saturday, February 2nd, and Sunday, February 4th. This is a completely free event. There is no need to register.
Despite the fact that the performances begin at 2pm and 4pm, you'll want to join in on the fun and reserve your spot for a meet and greet and photo op with The Mighty T-Rex afterward! Make sure you have your own camera with you. Eventbrite allows you to reserve a space for 3pm or 5pm. The meet and greet is only open to the first 50 people who arrive. To find tickets, go to the Find Tickets page.
Everyone in attendance will receive a coupon good for $2 off-day passes to Field Station: Dinosaurs, which is located in Overpeck County Park in Leonia and is celebrating its tenth anniversary season.
Leave those dingy bowling alleys and sterile concrete "family entertainment centers" in the past. Remove those flimsy party hats and stale skeeball tickets from your collection. Rather than throwing a boring, uninspired birthday party, they invite your child to explore an outdoor Paleozoic world filled with mystery, learning, and unforgettable thrills at Field Station: Dinosaurs.
A VIP seat at an Amphitheater show is included with every party, as is admission to the Field Station and its dramatic dinosaur-lined trails, as well as a knowledgeable party planner assigned to your group. In addition to a photo opportunity with The Mighty T-Rex, each birthday boy or girl also receives a special T-Rex themed commemorative hat to keep as a memento of their incredible journey back in time. The guests are each given a gift that is appropriate for their age as a thank you for coming to share this special day with your child. The number of birthday parties available is extremely limited; please call 855.999.9010 to inquire about available dates and times.
